Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is an exciting new organisation due to form on the 1 April this year subject to regulatory approval.  After significant recent success in working collaboratively, Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust are now merging.  Our new organisation will be responsible for the delivery of mental health and specialist learning disability services across the whole of the Black Country health system.  This merger provides a unique opportunity to build on the outstanding joint work our clinicians have been leading to deliver innovative developments which improve services for people across the Black Country.  We are excited about the future, and share a passion and commitment to developing an outstanding organisation. Together we will have an income of almost £170 million, with over 3,000 staff operating out of 65 sites over four boroughs.

Our Chief Nursing Officer will have an enviable opportunity to work with a new Board to establish our clinical vision, our values and our culture.  Leading our dedicated nursing professionals, you will support the creation of an empowering environment that allows them to provide compassionate and high quality care to our populations. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key leadership role bringing together the workforce of two high performing NHS Trusts providing a wide range of services the Black Country.

We are seeking an inspirational, creative and visible leader; a champion for service users and carers.  As an experienced Nursing leader working corporately at, or close to Board level, you will bring vision and credibility to the role.  Comfortable in building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders within the new organisation, our wider health system and our communities, your passion for quality, safety and excellence will match that of our dedicated and innovative workforce.  This is an exceptional chance to make your mark in the creation of a new organisation and we welcome applications from leaders with the initiative to seize this opportunity. If you share our passion for person-centred care and thrive in a progressive environment, then we would love to hear from you.
